Architectural inspiration

My architectural inspiration came from this earring that I have. The cutting of brillant rose diamond was inspired from the ceiling of the Notre Dame Cathedrals.

Brillant Rose

  1. The Brilliant Rose is a modified brilliant cut with 66 facets; 8 more than a conventional round diamond.

  2. The inspiration of the Brilliant Rose cut comes from the Rosace, the pattern in the Notre Dame Cathedral’s medieval stained glass

  3. The cathedral itself is a symbol of romance, making the Brilliant Rose the Ultimate Proposal Ring.

  4. View under the Idealscope, the Brilliant Rose shows a fireworks-like explosion from the pavilion view up and rosette pattern on the bottom view.
